Acceptable Use Policy

Respect other people's rights

• Don't upload, paste or prompt with material you don't have the rights to, such as other people's lyrics, recordings, melodies or artwork, unless you own it or have permission.
• Don't try to recreate a specific existing song.
• Don't use other people's photos, names or personal details in ways they wouldn't agree to.

No impersonation or deception

• Don't ask for a song in the voice of, or sounding just like, a real, identifiable artist, and don't present songs as performed or endorsed by a real artist or person.
• Don't make deepfakes or fake recordings of real people, or content meant to mislead people about elections, public health or emergencies.
• Don't remove or hide AI watermarks or labels, or pass off AI-generated songs as fully human-made where that would mislead people.

No harmful content

Don't use Utabox to make or share:

• anything sexual involving minors, or that sexualises minors — we report it to the authorities;
• sexually explicit content;
• content that promotes, glorifies or threatens violence, terrorism or self-harm;
• hate speech, or content attacking people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar traits;
• bullying or harassment of a real person, including “roasts” that are cruel rather than friendly;
• someone else's private information, such as their address or phone number;
• content that's illegal, or that promotes illegal activity.

Don't misuse the service

• Don't use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to get extra credits or get around limits.
• Don't try to break, overload or probe Utabox or our providers, or get around their security.
• Don't scrape Utabox, or use Utabox or its output to build datasets or train AI models, unless we agree in writing.
• Don't resell access to Utabox.
• Don't use output commercially beyond what your plan and the model allow.

What happens if the rules are broken

We use automated checks and human review. Depending on how serious it is and whether it's happened before, we may refuse a prompt, remove content, make a song private, limit features, or suspend or close the account. We may report illegal content to the authorities.
